Chroma follows loca

I cannot find a single suitable quotation containing the word "pink". I think this is a vast oversight on the part of English (and German--I checked "rosarot") wordsmithery.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if either are apropriate but...

“Slow buds the pink dawn like a rose From out night's gray and cloudy sheath; Softly and still it grows and grows, Petal by petal, leaf by leaf.”
Susan Coolidge

“I fell off my pink cloud with a thud.”
Elizabeth Taylor

Also, you may consider listening to the album Big Pink by The Band

A profusion of pink roses bending ragged in the rain speaks to me of all gentleness and its enduring. ~The Collected Later Poems of William Carlos Williams

I put down my book, The Meaning of Zen, and see the cat smiling into her fur as she delicately combs it with her rough pink tongue. "Cat, I would lend you this book to study but it appears you have already read it." She looks up and gives me her full gaze. "Don't be ridiculous," she purrs, "I wrote it." ~Dilys Laing, "Miao"

those don't quite fit the photo (which is superb, btw), but still. i like them.
