What will the new year bring?

We headed down to Chinatown to see some of the New Year's Celebrations. At the New Year, it is auspicious to offer something sweet, like oranges or donuts, to the dieties at the temple. It is also a good idea to have your fortune told.

This particular fortune teller is nothing if not thorough. I watched him check and re-check charts and take notes...

I hope he foresaw good luck!

There are four interdependent elements of flight: Lift, thrust, drag and weight. I will categorize each entry in this flight log/blog according to each of these elements of flight. Many things, for example, will end up in the Weight category. While Weight may seem the antithesis of flight, it is usually the things making up the weight--the passengers or payload--that are the reason for initiating flight. Therefore, no Weight, no flight.
